Were still here!

Well when people say that having a baby changes everthing about your life it does! It is amazing,truly amazing. However, free time is something that is a thing of the past and so i thought i would turn this blog into a quick journal. I got the idea from a fellow blogger. Her blog is called " Remember when". She is a new mommy herself and has too found that free time is rare. So instead of journaling weekly she simply writes remember when , & jot's down the event she wants to remember. Great idea! So thats what i will be doing.  Happy blogging friends!

The Waiting Game...

So today i am exactly 38 weeks. Crazy! Baby B has been head down since 34 weeks. You would think that would have sped things up,right? Wrong! But the great news is that if nothing has progressed by the end of next week I will be induced! Wohoo! I was so, so ,so excited when the doc told me. The waiting game is coming to an end! So,here's to hoping that Baby B comes soon. More importantly, that we have a healthy babe. Come on BABY!!

Hello third and final trimester!!

Wohooo! The very last trimester!! I have SO very much been looking forward to this. I am 34 weeks ( I know, a little late) and oh so ready to meet our precious baby boy. However, it still does not feel real to me. Many people told me just wait until you see the first ultra sound, or have your baby shower, or feel him kick, then it will seem real. Well needless to say, all of the above has happened and ya know what? It still does not      fee l100% real.I think that it is just a little hard to fathom that in 6 weeks ( or less) I will be holding this sweet thing, and will be a mom. Im sure it will feel  REALLY real then. Can't wait to meet you baby boy! We already love you so much! Oh and i decided to share a few of my fave "must haves" of the third trimester :)

FoR tHe LoVe Of SuMmEr!

So our summer started in July. First we kicked it off by ....moving! Talk about a party! (Note to EVERYONE!  Do not move when preg. Seriously.) Way more work than expected. Thank you family! Then we were off to the fun stuff, Bigelow family reunion, boating with our seriously missed friends from California, Alex & Anna, fourth of July fun, and of course watching the fire works at the hotel with family. Love it!  Enjoy the pics!
oh and p.s if your wondering if boating while pregnant isn't fun, think again! I stayed on the boat nice & dry eating my sandwich haha. Then when it came time to go everyone was shivering cold.. Not Me!

Boy,oh boy!

Thats right my friends.. were having a BOY! we were both right :) So on june 7th we went to the doc to find out what we are having. We were very, very anxious(who wouldn't be right?). As you know you have to drink 32 oz of water one hour prior to the appointment. I thought i might possibly end up wetting my pants because i had to go to the bathroom so way bad. Thank goodness i didn't :) So they took us back to the ultra sound room and i got all set up and then our doc came in and said ," So do you want to know what it is your having today?" Of Course we did. So at first Jared started out across the room sitting in the chair.. But as soon as we saw baby he was standing right next to the doc and i haha (tender moments :). The first thing i saw was a tiny little foot,then the hands. I was a little confused and the doc said,' wow this little baby is really showing off! It just really loves to move!" Then he says ," well, it looks like your having a boy." Jared say's,' I knew it! I knew it!" I just laughed. That's all. The doctor then showed us our sweet baby's face, and once again, heart, hands, feet,etc. I got a little teary because it all seemed so real ,right then. We are going to be parents. Parents. We are responsible for this babe. How exciting! We only have 18 weeks left until we meet this sweet boy. So i thought i would Journal some things from this trimester.
*Baby B loves to move mostly at night. * Back cramps ( those beauties rock my world, literally)
*More energy , YAY! * My appetite is back * Still not able to take prenatals* I am always super thirsty * Only 18 weeks to go! We sure do love you baby B

Baby B

Yep! Were having a baby! This little jelly bean will be making it's arrival in October! We will find out the gender in 5 weeks! We couldn't be more excited for this opportunity that we have to be parents!

Easter weekend , Utah,family,& friends.

I am realizing that I am a AWFUL blogger! It's true. I have no problem accepting this. As I was creating the post title I thought, you wouldn't have to compile all these things if you posted more. But hey, even if I'm a blog slacker, I'm good at other things! Haha! Now.. onto the real post. Easter weekend jared and Jovani (my jared's sister and b.i.l) blessed their sweet baby boy ecko and we spent the rest of the day with fam over eating. That night we were walking our crazy dog Kenya and I suggested we go to Utah the next day ( if you know Jared you know he is very practical and likes to plan and have an itinerary). Well Monday afternoon we were heading to Utah for the next few days! We had dinner with fam, went to ice cream and chatted for hours with friends, walked temple square, and shopped till we dropped at the new outdoor mall. I wasn't very good at taking pictures but here are a few that i have of our rooftop tour from the conference center. Happy spring!

{Little miss Lucy}

My niece Lucy is one of the sweetest and most adorable little girl ever (i may be biased  but i love her ). Today I surprised her when she came home from school and told her we were going to a special birthday lunch and she was sooo excited! We went to great harvest for lunch (its one of her favorite places), as we were driving there she was telling me all about her friends, riding the bus, her teacher, and her ballet class. As I looked at her in my mirror I thought to myself what happened to that shy little one year old I met almost five years ago? The sweet little girl with red ,crazy,curly hair that when I lived with her family would wait at the top of the stairs in the morning, and the second I heard her i would run up the stairs make her chocolate milk and pick that sweet little thing up and bring her down stairs. She would call Me "lassey" and help me put on my "mip" (make-up). I snapped out of my thoughts and as she finished talking I said," Lucy, I just love you. I'm so glad your my niece". She looked at me and said in the sweet little Lucy voice," Really? Well I love you more than all of the trees, your the best aunt ever".  Happy 6th birthday Lucy Lu! I love you more than all of the trees and more.  I so love the amazing family I married into.

February. Better late than never!

So February has been quite the exciting month for us for many reasons. 1: my every so crafty SIS in law Amanda helped me figure out this whole blog thing.. Thank you! 2 we went to the banff film festival by sundance. Amazing! If you have never been to one I suggest you take advantage of it next year! 3 my baby sister ( not so baby anymore ) turned 11!  So crazy! 4 Valentines day. This year was simple. Jared had class late so we went to jaliscos and then went  to tyson and amandas and made chocolate covered strawberries! Who does not like that?!6 we recieved some great news. The rest to come later :)  All in all I would say february has been a great success for us!

New Year..NEW GOALS!

Goal of 2012: Keep journal! How am i doing on this goal? Horrible :) so i simply decided that i am going to join the blog world, and if  i am unable to make one post a month.. Then there is simply no hope for me and my journal. ( Fingers crossed that i can make 12 posts in one year.)
